  1. Patrick H. Ford, Chairman and Founder

    Patrick H. Ford is Chairman and Founder of Lodging Econometrics (LE) and New England Hotel Realty (NEHR). Patrick has worked in the lodging industry for more than 40 years, beginning his career with the Dunfey Hotel Company, the predecessor company to the Omni Hotel Group. He spent 20 years in a variety of executive roles including serving as Vice President and Director of Operations for 26 hotels coast to coast.

    Patrick is known throughout the industry as a lodging real estate specialist, and has served as a presenter and panelist at many global industry events, including America’s Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS). For the past 20 years he has played a leadership role in the selection of the ALIS “Development Project of the Year” award, which recognizes the most outstanding achievement in hotel construction and design in the country.

    His expertise on the industry has been featured in many leading hospitality and real estate publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, USA Today, and Lodging Magazine. Patrick has been honored by the American Hotel & Lodging Association as one of the top 75 leaders in the lodging Industry. He is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors, and a Certified Hotel Broker (CHB).

  2. Timothy Ford, President
    A 20-year veteran of the hotel real estate industry and proven leader, Tim has been with Lodging Econometrics since its formation. As president, he is responsible for developing and supporting the Lodging Econometrics and New England Hotel Realty strategic direction while bringing out the best in employees amid a rapidly changing business environment.

    Since joining the company, Ford has spearheaded the development and execution of many successful growth initiatives and strategic shifts at the company, most notably LE’s online business development program delivery systems, including LE’s database of new construction, renovation, conversion, open & operating hotel and transaction records and its strategy and forecasting report center.

  3. Patrick ‘J.P.’ Ford, CHB, ISHC, Senior Vice President and Director of Global Business Development
    J.P. leads all of the Strategic Sales and Marketing Initiatives for Lodging Econometrics and New England Hotel Realty. He is an Industry leading real estate advisory specialist with over 25 years experience providing acquisition and disposition services in the United States.

    J.P. serves as a trusted adviser to Ownership and Management Groups throughout North America looking to add real estate assets and management contracts to their portfolios; Franchise Companies looking to identify new construction and potential brand conversion opportunities; and Wall Street analysts wanting to evaluate real estate development and valuation trends as well as assess investment potential in various hotel companies and particular markets.

    Additionally, J.P. chairs the committee responsible for gathering nominations and selecting the finalists for the America’s Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) “Development of the Year” award, which recognizes the most outstanding achievement in hotel construction and design in the country. He is also a speaker at various hotel industry events and conferences and regularly contributes to several lodging real estate publications, such as the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Lodging Magazine, the IHIF Newsletter, and the New England Real Estate Journal. J.P. is a Certified Hotel Broker (CHB) and a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).

  4. Bruce Ford, Senior Vice President and Director of Global Business Development
    Bruce is a recognized expert in lodging market intelligence and development trends, with in-depth knowledge of global markets and brands. Since 1995 he has collaborated with most of LE’s global client base and has helped them develop sales strategies and market penetration programs necessary for their success.

    Bruce identifies new construction and product replacement opportunities for vendors looking to increase their product distribution in the lodging industry and improve their market share, and new construction and potential brand conversion opportunities for franchise companies looking to accelerate their brand growth.

    Bruce is a featured speaker on global real estate trends at several industry conferences worldwide, including the Annual Lodging Conference in Phoenix, AZ, the International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, Germany, and the NYU Investment Conference in New York. In the past year alone he has appeared as an industry expert on six different development and real estate panels, in four different regions of the world. In addition, he has served on the Allied Member Executive Committee within the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and is a member of America’s Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) committee where he plays a role in the selection of the “Development Project of the Year” award singling out the most outstanding achievement in hotel construction and design in the country.

  5. Tom O’Gorman, Vice President of Sales
    As Vice President of Sales, Tom works closely with hotel industry Vendors and Ownership & Management Groups. He helps Vendors identify new construction and product replacement opportunities to accelerate their unit sales. He presents Ownership & Management Groups with a comprehensive list of asset management and acquisition opportunities tailored to a particular chain scale and location specification to expand their portfolios and achieve their growth objectives. Tom delivers to Vendors and Ownership and Management Groups customized Business Development Programs that include an Online Sortable Database containing comprehensive property records with complete decision-maker contact information and a web-based Library of Real Estate Trend Reports for strategic planning.

    With more than 25 years of management and sales experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, Tom brings a wealth of expertise to LE and the clients he serves.

  6. Dana Dischel Thyng, Director of Market Intelligence and Client Deliverables
    Dana is a seasoned hospitality industry veteran having worked over 25 years in a variety of executive roles. She has served as a manager at LE for 10 years. As Market Intelligence and Client Deliverables Director, she is responsible for the research and compilation of all Global Market Intelligence and for the delivery of all Real Estate Intelligence Programs and Subscription Products to LE clients.

    She works closely with the Director of Client Services to coordinate orientation and training for client’s staff. Together, they work to ensure the most effective use of LE’s cutting-edge programs, products, and database technology so that LE’s clients are able to quickly analyze available opportunities and accelerate their growth objectives.

  7. Mark Skarzynski, Director of Client Concierge Services
    Mark is responsible for the orientation and training of LE’s clients’ staffs: Business Development Officers and Market Analysts in Ownership and Management Groups; Business Development Officers within Major Franchise Companies; and Vendor Sales and Marketing Teams.

    In his role, he is responsible for customizing a comprehensive orientation program for both the Online Sortable Database and Website Library for each client’s staff that ensures the effective use of LE’s industry leading Real Estate Intelligence Programs within each client company. His primary objective is to support client executives and staff to ensure they can quickly identify market opportunities to advance their business development goals.

  8. Rebecca Evans, Director of Marketing Communications
    Rebecca is responsible for the development and implementation of external and internal communications programs for Lodging Econometrics and New England Hotel Realty. She also contributes to the organization’s strategic planning process and development of marketing strategies.

    Rebecca directly manages communication activities that promote and enhance the organization’s mission, including the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership.

    Rebecca serves as the key spokesperson and media/PR contact for the organization, and works with lodging industry, vendor, and global business media outlets to ensure timely responses to their requests. She also manages the development and distribution of all print and electronic marketing programs and oversees LE’s social media programs.
